The CIA’s University Accreditation Program (UAP)
provides students with the option of applying to
the CIA for exemptions from some of the early
actuarial exams of the SOA and CAS
The option of gaining exam exemptions can
provide candidates with a portion of the
qualification requirements to become an Associate
of the CIA.

Who are they?
Represent the Actuarial Science Club as a
fellow student.
Serve as a medium of communication between
the club and second year students.

Responsibilities
Make announcements in class, transport pizzas
and drinks, and run to stores to buy gifts for
speakers in freezing weather conditions (all
TRUE stories)
Sell tickets to strangers
Sacrifice study time to help organize events

How to Apply
Requirements: Must be enrolled in Actuarial
Science Subject POST (major or specialist), i.e.
enrolled in either ACT240, ACT245, or ACT247.
Process: Application will be open in the next few
weeks. Submit an application form along with a
ONE PAGE resume to apply. Further details to
be posted on website shortly.
