Planula Probability…
• Probability is a way to measure the chances
that something will occur in relation to the
possible alternatives.
• 4 out of 18 of my coral planula survived.

Variance and Standard Deviation
• Variance and standard deviation are used in
statistics to describe how far away from the
mean your data are.

Chi Squares in Turtles
• The Chi Square test can be used to see if there
are any significant differences between groups
of samples.
Chi Square in
turtles! Hardeehar-har!!!!
T-test
• The p-value generated by the t-test formula on
Microsoft Excel was .000545 which is less than
the p-value of 0.05, so there is a significant
difference between the control and treatment
groups.
• T-test’s measure whether there is a significant
difference between the means of two
independent samples(the treatment and control
groups).
