Backing up a Database Using
RB2000 Start and End of the
Day Module
Why do we need to back up the
database?

To ensure against loss of data

To minimize interference with operational
transaction processing, and to provide for
rapid recovery from system malfunctions.

Creating regular backups allows you to
restore database in case they happen to
fail.
RB2000 Banking System requires to
backing up your database before doing
the End of the Day process for the
purpose of data management, ensuring
integrity and security.
Restoring a Database Using
RB2000 Start and End of the
Day Module
Restoring will overwrite all of the
references in your database. If you need
to restore from a back up for some reason
e.g. retrieving historical information, etc… ,
be sure to do it on an empty database
other than the existing database to avoid
loss of data.
