What is Communication?
Communication is simply the act of
transferring information from one place to
another.
The different categories of communication are:
•Spoken or Verbal Communication: face-to-face,
telephone, radio or television and other media.
•Non-Verbal Communication: body language,
gestures, how we dress or act - even our scent.
•Written Communication: letters, e-mails, books,
magazines, the Internet or via other media.
•Visualizations: graphs, charts, maps, logos and
other visualizations can communicate messages.

ICT in Communication:
Uses of ICT make communication easier. Now-a-days we
can communicate with any person staying at any corner
or any place of the world within very short time.
So use of ICT in communication saves ……..

Because…………
 we don’t need to travel a long
distance to communicate with each
other.
 Just a mobile call or an email can help
us to send and receive information or
message to or from distant places.

In conclusion we can say ICT based
communication has made the world a small
village (global village).Because people of
different countries of the world can share
their ideas, feelings, expressions, happiness
and sorrows among themselves as like as the
inhabitants of a small village. This system has
increased working speed, reduces wastages
of time and saves money and energy. All of
these have become possible by globalization
in communication
