Introduction
The Compensation Review communications are intended to
reach all current and former mineworkers, employees of
the works industry, their families and communities; and to
get the buy-in and co-operation of Employers, Trade Unions
and Ex Mineworkers’ Structures regarding compensation.
Objectives
To provide timely and accurate information to all
identified stakeholders about the ongoing process;
To communicate solutions to challenges that current
and former workers face with the compensation
systems;
To inform the public (in South Africa and relevant SADC
states) about the work being done and educate them
about the outcomes of the process.
