• People have been positively and negatively
effected by the different/new ways of
communicating.
• Texting, instant messaging (IM), facebook,
myspace, etc. are various new ways of
communicating,and the issue is we need to
make sure we stay safe while embracing
these new ways of communication.

a cell phone, they wouldn’t know what

rules
• Keep all language appropriate
• Be able to state options without insulting others
• Don’t give away where you live, how old are to
others on the internet because some people use this
information to find you.
• Protect password and make sure that you don’t give
it away to strangers you don’t know
• Be nice to people over the internet and
don’t type mean things

collaboration
• Many people get addicted to the internet, like
facebook, etc.
• There are many ways to talk to people all
around the world, texting, email, by phone, in
person, IM.
• The way people do their jobs requires using
