Traditional art has always struck the east and China in particular.
From Chinese embroidery to wood carving. Well , is not this amazing?!
This kind of carving originated in the early Tang Dynasty . During the
Song Dynasty is the craft reached the stage of art, and in the reign of
the Ming and Qing carving reached its heyday . It is also called "white
forest" as masters are keen to show the natural beauty of wood.
You just see how harmoniously tree structure "fit" these "pictures".
Dongyang - is the center of one of the four main schools of carving in
China.
