but ended up throwing the A/C out and starting over

• Sharing power

• Each level has power
the other doesn’t

• Shocking new
Constitution had to be
sold to the rest of the
citizens
• It had been written
behind locked doors
• Only way to get enough
States to agree to it was
to add a Bill of Rights

• 1st 10 amendments
to the Constitution
guarantee in writing
those personal
freedoms the
founders were
fighting for
• Speech, press,
religion, jury trial etc.
