Parts of the circulatory system
• The circulatory system includes the heart,
arteries, capillaries, & veins.
• Blood flows away from the heart
in blood vessels called arteries.
Blood flows back to the heart in
veins.

• The circulatory system works with the
Respiratory system. The Respiratory system is
breathing while the Circulatory system is the
blood and heart. They go hand and hand.

Germ Wars
When germs get into your body, white blood cells are sent to get rid of them.
When the white blood cells are done dealing with the germs, they return
to the heart to be cleaned.
White blood cells are stored in lymph & are released when necessary .
