The most famous Aztec emperor was Montezuma. The
empire lived in Tenochtitlan. The empire was divided into
provinces. The nobles were rich and they were leaders of
the provinces. There were other nobles like, the
government of officials, judges, and the generals. The
commoners were divided into family groups called clans.
Each clan has there own land. The commoners were
farmers, artisan, soldiers and laborers. The lowest class
were the slaves. The nobles would buy the slaves then the
nobles will sell the slaves in a slave market.

To became a king you had to sacrifice for blood. And when they were in a war
they will get someone from the other group that they were in war as a
prisoner to use as a victim in a ceremony. The king dressed with flowing
white robes decorated with the beautiful quetzal plumes reserved for
royalty. Each noble family rule one city. The commoners where farmers.
They plant crops. Slaves served the king and the nobles family.
