How did the Civil war affect Americas future
 I think that it very much affected America's future. After the
war Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation
Proclamation. This ensured that we as Americans could
never have slaves. Although this did not stop segregation
between the blacks and the whites. It would take another 85
years for segregation to be abolished. The civil war also
affected how the north view the south and vice versa.
How did the Civil war end?
 The civil war ended on April 9
1864. When General E. Lee signed
a treaty to Ulysses S. Grant.
