THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP YOUR CHILD AT HOME
• Listen to your child read daily asking them questions from the front of their
reading record
• Encourage them to complete further research on any topic they are learning about in
school
• Practice the spelling of any words which are sent home with your child
• Practice counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s
