Dataflow representation for the Mobile Phenomics platform
PLANING: Eg. Nordic Field Trial System
Trial created in NFTS by trial owner and/or planner
Planning metods and masurements
Data transfer:
(correlates to the MSI library on the MMIP)
(Session/template)
Supports re-scheduling of trials,
even with new choices of MSI libraries
(if statistically viable).
•
•
Measurement type
(algorithm i.e. what MSI
library is to be used)
GPS and/or plot map
Measurement:
E.g. Mobile Multi Imaging Platform
Automation script (session/template)
pushed to MMIP laptop and the MSI library
Imaging begins (Videometer software).
Real-time images lets technician catch some errors:
•completely wrong crop (MSI library) chosen;
•dead animal in crops;
•Wind / false light.
In some cases the in-NFTS chosen MSI library is not sufficient.
A new may have to be created, and the imaging must stop.
Data stored
Raw and metadata is prepped, then transferred.
If current MSI libraries are not sufficient, a specialist creates
new libraries (which are synched to NFTS).
Data storage
Analytic Platform
ALL data from the MMIP
is stored on a server.
Real-time and offline analytical tools
