The prevention of crashes and catastrophes requires application of special technical devices which
allow state monitoring of buildings and structures, power plants, power lines and other equipment
and provide precrash state detection of objects long before crash itself preventing disastrous effects.
It is necessary to observe and search objects for wrecking implementation in day, night, smoke and
fog conditions. FSUE “ALPHA” offers special optical and optoelectronic devices of the following
classes:
- portable handy thermal imagers;
- combined thermal imaging - night vision and multispectral complexes;
- night devices, including monoculars, binoculars, goggles, sights;
- combined “day-night” monoculars, binoculars, sights;
- observation devices with imaging stabilization;
Compact thermal imagers allow detection of humans
and other objects at day and night, in consistent smoke and
fog conditions, on the water and under sand or dust by
objects own infrared radiation.
The devices allow to carry out express-monitoring of state
of electrical equipment and power plants, detect their
precrash state long before crash itself and prevent fire and
catastrophe occasions.
The devices are better than their foreign analogues by
detection range, control simplicity and reliability, resistance
to mechanical and climatic effects.
All items are created with domestic elements that gives an
opportunity to provide their production and technical
maintenance without bringing into play foreign companies.
Thermal imaging and television searching
complex allows to carry out search with information
displayed on television monitor and simultaneous video
recording and transmission of observed thermal imaging
picture via cable or radio channel.
Combined devices provide additional possibilities for
objects detection and identification.
The devices are compact, simple in use, resistant to
mechanical and climatic effects. They allow to
confidently find one’s bearings on the ground and detect
objects in total darkness, smoke, fog conditions due to
complexation of thermal imaging and night channels.
The example of express-analysis of electric wiring state in buildings. Thermal imaging
monitoring provides reliable detection of defective electric wiring and precrash state of
aggregates and power plants as soon as possible. Received information allows to take
necessary measures in advance and prevent fire, crash and disastrous effects.

Binoculars with imaging stabilization
“Alpha-BKS 20х50, BKS 18х50” are the world
leaders in their item class. They are the first and
the only providing observation resolution of 3
seconds of arc in case vibration conditions that
allows to increase identification range by more
than 5 times as compared with usual binoculars.
The devices provide possibility of confident
object identification while observing from
helicopter, boat and other mobile bases during
search.

Compact thermal imager “Alpha-KT-3”
Highly sensitive compact thermal imager provides the conversion of infrared radiation that is not
seen by human eye to visible image observed by ocular. The device is intended for:
- search and detection of human and other objects by their own infrared radiation during wrecking
including work in total darkness and smoke conditions;
- estimating status of heating mains, high-voltage lines and other industrial equipment;
- location of building heat leaks.
Thermal sensitivity and spatial resolution of the device are remained during panning with high
angular velocities that provides detection and identification of objects in circular scan mode
promptly.
The device allows to carry out detection of humans by their own radiation at a distance up to
1000m, detection of vehicles and other machinery at a distance more than 3 km including work in
total darkness and smoke conditions.

The device is intended for:
- search and location of humans, warmblooded animals by their own infrared
radiation during wrecking including work in

Thermal sensitivity and spatial resolution of the device are remained during panning with high angular
velocities that provides detection and identification of objects in circular scan mode promptly.
The device allows to carry out detection of humans by their own radiation at a distance up to 1000m,

NIGHT VISION MONOCULAR “ALPHA-9022 "
The monocular is intended for handheld or hands-free operation such as surveillance,
reconnaissance, navigation, aiming and vehicle driving, night nature observation etc.
at night or low-light level conditions. It can be used by police, detectives, guard
service etc.
The single-eye night vision concept is based on the independent use of each eye. One
eye is equipped with night vision capability while the other eye remains free and
uncovered. This configuration overcomes the problem of night blindness experienced
when removing standard dual-eye goggles.
The monocular is installed with the help of a special head strap-mounted assembly
which suits everybody with any head shape or used independently while handheld
observing. When using for hands-free operation the head strap-mounted assembly is
installed on a head with the help of special belts. There is an ability of monocular
installation at various design helmets by special original mounting optionally
delivering in accordance with customer's additional requirements.
The monocular has 1x magnification providing user’s normal spatial orientation.
«Alpha-9022» forms the high quality image all over the whole field of view due to
incorporated 2+ or 3 generation image intensifier. A built-in microchannel amplifier,
high-voltage power supply with automatic brightness control and bright sources
protection scheme are used in these intensifiers.
Among the additional accessories which are optionally available with monocular are:
- 4x or 2.5x magnifying optical attachments providing increasing viewing distance
when handheld using,
-camera mounting adapter giving an ability to carry out night video filming and
photography
- external infrared illuminator “Alpha-8011” to obtain better pattern image up to
150m at low light conditions such as starlight for example.
The monocular also provides high quality image in natural night illumination
conditions without additional lighting. Except that there is a built-in infrared light
emitting diode which provides local infrared lighting for working in total darkness at a
small distance (up to 10m).
The monocular «Alpha-9022» is a compact and light weight device which is reliable
and easy-to-use.
The monocular design provides eyepiece diopter setting and wide range objective
lenses focus adjustable as well as a simple and quick replacement of power supply
batteries.
The monocular design provides necessary protection from dust, moisture and humidity
and can be operable in salt mist conditions .

«Alpha-1962»
Purpose
Universal night vision aiming complex KPU NV«Alpha-1962» is intended for aiming
firearms shooting, surveillance, reconnaissance, maps reading, vehicles driving etc. in low
level illumination conditions at night and twilight. The complex consists of : 1. Night
vision head monocular “Alpha-9022”. 2. Laser aiming pointer «Alpha-7115». 3. 4Х
magnifying attachment. 4. Infrared illuminator «Alpha-8111-2». 5. Helmet mounting. 6.
Battery charger.
Night vision monocular «Alpha-9022» is fixed at special head strap-mounted assembly or
at protective helmet. The mounting allows quick monocular transfer from operative mode
to inoperative one and vice versa. The single-eye night vision concept is based on the
independent use of each eye. One eye is equipped with night vision capability while the
other eye remains free and uncovered. This configuration overcomes the problem of night
blindness experienced when removing standard dual-eye goggles.
Monocular can be handheld operated. In this case it is completed with external infrared
illuminator “Alpha-8111” with independent power supply source which provides quality
vision in total darkness at a distance up to 150 m and 4x magnifying optical attachment for
1.5 times vision range increasing. Optionally in accordance with customer's additional
requirements monocular can be completed with a camera mounting adapter giving an
ability to carry out night video filming and photography. The monocular has adjustable
focusing and eyepiece diopter setting. Monocular has a built-in infrared light emitting
diode which can be used for local (up to 10 m) IR lighting for operating in total darkness.
Laser aiming pointer (LAP) «Alpha-7115» serves for illuminated infra red spot
creating on target. This spot can be properly observed by night vision monocular «Alpha9022» but is practically almost invisible for naked eye. The device provides smooth
radiation intensity changing up to 50 times depends on particular target observation
conditions and illuminated spot visibility. For opening fire it is enough to position a
weapon in such a way that illuminated spot should coincide the target.
It allows to carry out firing from any position and even on the run. The LAP start button
can be situated on fixing bracket or placed on flexible cuff in accordance with customer's
requirements.
Battery charger provides monocular, LAP and illuminator power supply batteries
charging by 12 V dc or 27 V dc voltage. 220 V ac 50 Hz is possible too when using
special net power supply adapter.

NIGHT VISION GOGGLES
“ALPHA-1032"
“Alpha-1032” night vision goggles can be used at night or low-light level
condition for surveillance, reconnaissance, navigation, objects protection,
terrain orientation and moving, target acquisition and aiming, vehicle
driving without additional lighting , text and map reading, astronomic
researches etc. The goggles can be used by police, detectives, guard service
etc.
The goggles have unitary magnification that is essential for normal
terrain orientation. The pseudobinocular device construction helps
significantly decrease goggles cost. The goggles provide high quality
image with the uniform resolution over the whole field of view due to the
original optics and design.
In accordance with customer's requirements the goggles can be equipped
with image intensifier of 2+, or 3 generation. High resolution and
photocathode sensitivity, built-in microchannel intensifier, incorporated
high-voltage power supply unit, automatic brightness control and anti-flash
scheme which protect the device and user’s eye from the bright light
sources are the peculiarities of the image intensifier.
The device can be handheld or head mounted for hands-free operation by
installing at the head strap-mounted assembly which suits every man with
any face shape.
The goggles provide large viewing distance at natural night luminance. In
case of total darkness the built-in IR LED can be used for local (up to 10
m) IR lighting.
Among the additional accessories that can be optionally delivered with the goggles
there are 2.5X or 4X magnifying optical attachments providing viewing distance
increasing when handheld using and also external IR illuminator to obtain better
pattern image up to 150m at low light conditions such as starlight for example.
For night weapon firing the goggles can be used with Alpha-7115 IR laser aiming
pointer which is installed at a standard Russian made gun side riflescope mounting for
or with another IR aiming pointers. Laser aiming pointer provides IR lighting spot on
a target necessary for aiming which can be properly viewed only through night vision
devices but not with a naked eye.
Alpha-1032” is small-size and lightweight device simple to use. The device provides
wide range interpupilary distance adjustment, eyepieces diopter and objective lenses
focus settings as well as simple and quick power supply batteries replacement. The
device has passed all kinds of special tests. It is resistant to dust, moisture and
humidity and operable in conditions of salt mist.

“ONV-9” is low weight, an original design night vision goggles which combines new
achievements in the field of optical technology and engineering with user comfort and
operating simplicity. “ONV-9” general features are excellent performance, high resolution
all over the FOV of 50 (!) angular degrees and all necessary individual adjustments such as
interpupillary distance adjustment, eyepieces diopter focus settings, eyepiece-to-operator’s
eye distance adjustment, up and down shift adjustment, objective lens focusing, on/off
built-in IR-illuminator switching, short period IR-illuminator switching on button, interior
IR-illuminator and active mode indicator.
A comfortable face mask fastens night vision goggles reliably and conveniently on a head
for hands-free operations. The goggles can be quickly moved into nonoperating vertical
position and backward by a proper means.
Among the additional accessories that can be optionally delivered with the goggles there is
4X magnifying optical attachment providing viewing distance increasing when handheld
using. For night weapon firing with “ONV-9” goggles Alpha-7115 IR laser aiming pointer
can be used. It is installed at a standard Russian made AK type guns with the help of side
riflescope mounting. Laser aiming pointer provides IR lighting spot on a target necessary
for aiming fire which can be properly viewed only through night vision devices but not
with a naked eye.

NIGHT VISION GOGGLES
“ALPHA-2031"
The night-vision goggles (NVG) are intended for piloting helicopters, light motor
aircrafts, motorized hang gliders providing continuous napping off the earth in the
wide visual field.
NVG effective usage can be achieved at night during low-altitude flights, at
takeoffs, landings and other air-born operations which seem to be physically
impossible to be performed at low light conditions without intensive artificial terrain
illumination.
The NVG will be indispensable for air patrolling, rescue operations as well as
searching trucks, automobiles, people and etc.
The ALPHA-2031 NVG are binocular helmet-mounted goggles using two imageintensifier tubes of 3 or Sup. 2+ generation. The installed “- blue” filters provides
compatibility with the special green aircraft cockpit lighting. The NVG mounting are
intended for installation on the Russian made ZSh-7V pilot helmet. It includes easily
detachable counterweight arranged at the helmet rear to improve its balance. The
NVG are attached to the helmet so that they can be easily lifted upwards in the
nonoperating position with the simultaneous electrical power disconnection or swiftly
thrown off before ejection . Being original in design the NVG mounting
easily permits to adjust a device location relatively to the pilot’s eyes at six freedom
degrees before fixing in selected position.
The NVG power supply is realized in two variants:
- independent using of two internal AA type batteries;
- 27 V dc electrical on-board supply source connection through a voltage converter
installed in the cockpit and connected to the NVG through a special cable entering
into the delivery set.
The NVG design provides automatic brightness control, bright source protection,
high-quality image and easy adjustment procedure.

NIGHT VISION GOGGLES “ALPHA-2031 N "
The night-vision goggles (NVG) are intended for piloting helicopters, light motor

Delivery set of these goggles includes helmet visor guard, installation mounting and
adapted counterweight. The goggles mounting provides the installation on the helmet
visor guard with the help of original bracket and includes counterweight adjustable by
mass and placed in the helmet rear for better head balancing. The NVG are attached to
the helmet visor guard so that they can be easily lifted upwards in the nonoperating
position with the simultaneous electrical power disconnection or swiftly thrown off
before ejection . Being original in design the NVG mounting easily permits to adjust a
device location relatively to the pilot’s eyes at six freedom degrees before fixing in
selected position.
The NVG power supply is realized in two variants:

“ALPHA-3122"
Passive night pseudobinocular binoculars “Alpha-3122” is created on the base of image
intensifier of 2+ or 3 generation that has photocathode of heightened sensibility, microchannel
plate, high conversion ratio and built-in high-voltage power supply. The binoculars are intended for
observation at night time, even without Moon, being used by law machinery, objects protection,
astronomic and medical researches etc. The device has high end lens objective and specially
developed ocular system.
The device provides high quality image with uniform resolution on the whole field of
view and high image brightness, has automatic brightness adjustment for protection from intensive
exposures. The binoculars provide large observation distances in natural night illumination
conditions, have diopter laying, allow to change interpupillary distance. Two AA batteries are the
power supplies of the device.
The binoculars can be completed with infrared illuminator “Alpha-8011” providing
observation in total darkness conditions at a customer’s will.
The binoculars construction is reliable, compact and easy-to-use. It provides necessary
protection from dust and moisture and can work in salt fog conditions.

“ALPHA-8011"
Infrared illuminator «Alpha-8011» is intended for illumination of objects observed in binoculars of
“Alpha-3122” type, in monocular of “Alpha-9022” type, in night vision goggles “Alpha-1032” in
insufficient natural night illumination conditions: cloudy sky without moon and star light, accidents on the
ground, woodland etc. It is produced in two modifications: «Alpha-8011-1» and «Alpha-8011-2» which
differ in power supplies. Illuminator is equipped with original connector providing quick installation and
removal for used devices.

LASER AMING POINTER “ALPHA-7115"
“Alpha-7115” IR laser aiming pointer is an optic-electronic device designed for firearms aiming
shooting with night vision helmet device using at night and twilight or in situations of insufficient light
conditions.
IR laser aiming pointer which can be installed at a standard Russian made gun side riflescope
mounting creates a IR light spot on a target which is necessary for aiming fire. The lighting spot can be
viewed properly through night vision devices only and which is almost invisible for a naked eye.
The device can provide more then 50 times step by step radiation intensity variation which optimal
level strongly depends upon particular target and spot contrasts and luminance conditions.
LED indicators serve for working mode and batteries discharge control.
IR laser aiming pointer is designed to operate at the temperature range from -40°C to +55°C and
relative humidity up to 98%. Two AA type batteries are used for power supply.
The aiming pointer start button can be fixed on a fixing bracket or placed on flexible projecting cuff in
accordance with customer's requirements.
