Our world is becoming increasingly insular. We carry
computers in our pockets which provide us with
services and online communities which mean that 'real
world' interactions are becoming less important to us.
But whilst we gain so much from our online
connections we also loose so much - extending our
virtual networks at the expense of our physical ones.
How sustainable is that for our geographical
communities?

WHAT’S THE POINT?
The solution to this challenge isn’t to ask people to
pose for a photo with a message to the world. This
activity is merely a prototype – it’s purpose is to
provoke conversation and provide inspiration. There is
no silver bullet but by rapidly testing out ideas we will
learn more about problem and move further towards
defining hard hitting solutions which will bring people
closer together and help to sustain ‘real world’
communities.
