Center in order to attract more voters and
ensure majority support.

which political views can be placed.

All forms of communication including radio,

In a newspaper, a short essay that gives
the newspaper publisher’s or editor’s view
of a public issue.
Focuses public attention on an important
issue

Commentary essays run in a newspaper,
(opposite the editorial page).
They may be submitted by anyone
(readers, political leaders, experts.)

An assembly, meeting place for discussion
of questions of public interest.
