Intention and objectives of PhD project
•
To develop a suggestion for a
common European standard for
future energy and CO2-neutral
Active Houses.
•
Developing knowledge about the
holistic approach to integrating
fresh air, plenty of daylight and
healthy indoor climate into a
sustainable way of living.
•
Developing a method for integrating
quantitative and qualitative
parameters in developing buildings.

Active House
What is an Active House?
An Active House is CO2-neutral. By
using renewable energy sources it
has an exceptionally low level of
energy consumption and procduces
more energy than it concumes.
An Active House has a
healthy indoor climate,
allowing. people to express
themselves and live their
lives in comfort.
