compelling need to starve, binge, or to binge and

Anorexia Nervosa
◦ Eating disorder in which a person starves their body
and weighs 15% or more below the healthy weight
for their age and gender
Bulimia
◦ Eating disorder in which a person binges and then
purges

1. Alarm
First stage – body gets ready for quick action
