STI Solution – CIS/2 Data Exchange
• CIS/2 is the steel design and construction industry
standard in North America.
• AISC formally endorsed CIS/2 in 1999.
• Many external software tools already support CIS/2,
including those that B&V currently uses: GTStrudl,
RISA-3D, Tekla Structures
• LPM/6, the CIS/2 data schema, can be implemented
in the POWRTRAK® relational database.
• Plant Vision CIS/2 export prototype can be
leveraged for production software.
