I can see really clearly now the heavy rain has gone
I can see all obstacles and people in my way
Gone are big dark clouds that often had me blind
It’s going to be a long, bright sunshiney summer day
I think I can actually make it now the terrible pain has gone
And nearly all of the old, bad feelings have disappeared
Look, here is the bright rainbow I’ve been praying for
It’s going to be a long, bright, bright sunshiny summer day
Look all around you, there’s nothing but clear, blue skies

For example: Do you prefer summer or winter?
Half the group prefers summer to winter.
Nobody likes going out in the heavy rain.
Everyone hates thick fog.
Only one person’s favourite season is autumn.
Two people prefer windy days to sunny days.
Everyone enjoys seeing a rainbow.
90% of the group never play in the snow.
30% of the group feel sad when it’s cloudy
Most people prefer to be outside when it’s hot and sunny.
Nobody minds thunderstorms.
Check the questions with the whole

• In groups of five divide the questions so that
each person in the group has two questions to
ask the others.
• When you have all the answers, report the
results in the class.
• Example: Everybody in our group prefers summer to winter
