Neptune’s moon’s
 Neptune has 8 moons and the
most fascinating one is Triton,
it is one of the biggest moons
in the universe. The other six
moons were discovered by the
‘voyager 2 flyby’, in 1989.
 Usually Pluto is the furthest
away planet from the sun, but,
when going around the sun,
Pluto sometimes goes neither
and so Neptune is the furthest
away planet.
The Milky way
 Although the Milky way takes its name from the band
of stars, we see across the sky, it also includes all stars
visible to the eye.
 Our solar system :The sun is at the centre of our solar
system. It is a massive ball of gasses which produces as
100’000m hydrogen bombs exploding...every second!
The nine planets of the solar system and more than 60
moons orbit the sun.
Dark Spots
 Several dark spots have been
seen on Neptune.
 The largest is about the size of
earth, it is called the great
dark spot.
 It may be a gigantic storm,
like the great spot on Jupiter.

60,190 days.

moons Triton , Thaiassa ,
Nalad , naiad , Despin ,
Galatea ,

Neried.

symbol, as every planet
does, Neptune has a
symbol that looks very
powerful as you may see.
