• We, on planet Earth, are located in the Milky Way
Galaxy.
The Earth
• We will learn about the importance of our planet Earth.
Nine planets
• We will learn about the planets that make up our Milky
Way Galaxy.
The Inner Planets
• We will also learn more specifically why the closest
planets to the sun are classified as the inner planets.
The Outer Planets
• We will also learn about the planets that are farthest
away from the sun, which are classified as the outer
planets.
Space Travel
• We will discover that space exploration is
important!
• We will learn that astronauts go to school for many
years.
Wrap it Up!
• We will be able to answer the question “Are we the only
planet?”
• What? Why?
You will be able to give specifics about our Solar
Systems and answer the important questions that
anyone has about our galaxy
