Agra .Also it’s a palace.

go there to pray. The Lotus
temple is in New Delhi. It
was built in 1986.

Chembakolli is a village in India and hardly any one has any money.
In the school they have 1 computer for every one.

• Chembakolli is a village where most of the people that can’t
afford to live in the big city live.
• They make their houses out of but and wood also straw. There is
a step when they have a flood the water doesn’t come in.
• Their houses have no front doors and no windows.

A Hindu temple is called a Mandir.
They have statues of different gods.
They ring a bell to wake them up
then they feed them honey and
fruit. Lastly the wash them in milk.

Hindus believe in many different

Curry
In India they don’t just buy curry they
make curry. There fabulous curry can
be very spicy or sometimes it can just
be plain. In class 5 we did some curry
cooking and then we had some
poperdoms and naan bread.

also archery. India are very good

grow cotton. In India men can
wear suits when going to work,

called a dhoti.
