 Accenture Technology Solutions (ATS) Internships offer assignments both in Belgium
and abroad
 ATS internships are specially designed to introduce final year Bachelor students to
the Accenture global way of working
 As ATS interns, students learn from and are coached by highly skilled and
experienced colleagues in different professional environments and across
various platforms.
 Interns have the opportunity to elaborate soft and language skills working in
international and multicultural teams.
 They are trained in the tools and methodologies used by Accenture for projects at

Employee Self Service has been a very popular product of SAP in HR module for many years now. We

BE – ETL KPI Reporting tool

Description
Implementation of an ETL KPI reporting tool and creation of operational reports. These reports should use data from an ETL
tool. During runtime, the ETL tool gathers information such as duration of a job and amount of data processed, etc. These
data should be used to create the reports.

Basic database knowledge, SQL, ETL-basics
Objectives
The ETL-tool selected is Oracle Warehouse builder with Business Objects as reporting tool. By using these tools you will
gain knowledge about ETL-concepts, Oracle databases, Oracle Warehouse Builder and the reporting tool BO. You will for
example also need to be able to set up a connection between both tools.
To be more ETL-tool independent, a reporting database will need to be set up. This Oracle database will collect runtime
information from the OWB database. This data collection can be done in several ways: synchronous or asynchronous.
Explaining why a certain choice has been made will also be important.
Prior to the development and analysis of the tools, the software will need to be deployed. Depending of the setup and
concept a Oracle database can be installed + BO.

BE – Message Wall

Description
The MessageWall is an internal tool developed by Accenture and which has been enhanced over several
versions. Since the first version, development methodology and technologies have evolved.
Requirements
Java, SQL, Database modeling, Interest in infrastructure , knowledge of Spring/Hibernate is a plus

Technical enhancements are required :
• Improve database management : Database schema should be refactored using Liquibase for
managing schema versions and reproduction.
• Improve local execution : Running the MessageWall in an embedded Jetty would allow executing it
from the IDE as any other Java application and easing the debugging.
• Dependencies update
• Frameworks and libraries used in the MessageWall have evolved and new versions have been
released.

Completion of transition deliverables, assistance to setup of compliance towards internal
policies, assistance to onshore/offshore cooperation, SLA tracking and status reporting for
the EDF Luminus AMS project.
Project description: EDF Luminus AMS is a 2 year application maintenance project to
support the EDF Luminus SAP landscape. The delivery team is mainly based in Vilvoorde (5
FTE) and partially in India (2FTE). After one month of knowledge transfer the delivery of
services will go live on 1st October.

Purpose of the internship
The internship exists of 2 parts:
ABAP: A part of the tasks on the SAP projects is providing code changes & enhancements on the client systems. These
are done by the IDC team in Pune.
You will:
• Actively participate in the client work as team member of the SSC, learn the workings of the team
• Create changes in the client systems (cross client)
• Communicate with the IDC team on changes + planning / Communicate with the client
• Get in contact with several SAP modules
• Connect & get help from the SSC team & Subject matter experts
SAP Dumps: (Optional)
1 of the tasks on the Fabricom SAP AMS project is the analyses of the SAP Dumps. As this is in its initial phase, this needs
further investigation & a set of guidelines need to be determined.

• Investigate the client requirements & constraints for the SAP Dump Analyses
• Perform SAP Dump Analyses
• Create / Document a set of procedures & guidelines for future reference
• Communicate with IDC on the process, so they are able to take this up after the internship.

BE – Recip-e for mobile devices

Description
Recip-e is a centralized system that allows electronic prescriptions to be sent securely from
doctor to pharmacy. Because doctors are often on the move, they could use a smartphone or
tablet to submit electronic prescriptions to the Recip-e system. Recip-e for mobile
devices consists of building a native Android/iOS app to create an electronic prescription and
then submit this prescription to Recip-e. The target devices are smartphones and tablets.
The apps would be distributed via a private market/app store.
