between the 15% EOC requirement and
GPA / Class Rank
How will the final grade be distributed?
85% from teacher
Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II
Biology, Chemistry, Physics
English I, English II, English III
World Geography, World History, U.S. History

EOC Retakes & Recalculation
By law, EOC Retakes are allowed by the
student for any reason; however,
BISD will recalculate EOC Retakes for final grade
posted on AAR only until the student earns course
credit.
Highest EOC Retake score will be used for
cumulative score after credit is earned.
EOC Retakes for Class Rank
Beginning with 9th graders entering high school in
2013-2014, FIRST TIME EOC is scored with an “S
code” by Pearson.
