THE BLITZ
The blitz was
bombs that hit
Britain by
Germans.
The Blitz (from German, "lightning") was the strategic bombing of Britain by
Nazi Germany between 7 September 1940 and 10 May 1941,[1] during the
Second World War.
When France fell to Germany in June 1940,
Hitler’s aims were turned on Britain. Hitler
thought that if he destroyed the RAF he
could invade England.

made out of steel and

people from the German
