Museum Classroom
The classroom space allows the instructor to
provide presentations, tutorials, and objects
that students need for completing course work.
The classroom also provides students with a
place to meet so they can work on individual or
team projects. It was designed as a museum
for the design class so that students could hold
art shows and sell their work in world to other
residents.

Student Cube (Workspace)
Students are provided space at the beginning
of the term. We refer to it as their dorm room as
it is a location that they may decorate it with
TSL objects. It is also a place for them to
complete their work, post material, give
presentations and work with peers. Students
are very possessive of their dorm rooms and it
is amazing to see what they design in their free
time.

ECU Portfolio Project
Throughout their academic career, students are provided with
a variety of assignments and activities that they are required
to complete so that they may develop their portfolio. Students
enrolled in the Business and Information Technologies
Department have the opportunity to make their portfolio come
to life. Students are provided a Thinc Book. As they complete
various activities the students place the documents, images,
and presentations within their Thinc Book Portfolio. Upon
graduation their portfolio stays with their avatar and they are
able to present it to potential employers to document their
accomplishments at ECU.

Classroom Management Simulations
The Instructional Methods class will complete a
series of simulations that allow them to act as the
teacher and implement classroom management
strategies. It allows students to learn different
strategies before they are physically placed at their
Senior II schools.
