To begin, a quotation:

The best marketing requires preparation and central to
that preparation is the development of a Marketing Plan.
Your Marketing Plan is a written document that outlines
your goals and the strategies you intend to use to achieve
those goals.

To promote or advertise your event consider:
• Distributing flyers and posters around the community at
points where people work, meet or visit regularly
(e.g. library, cafes).
• Sending invitations to interested groups in the local area.
• Submitting articles to local papers and community
newsletters.
