How Evolution Minimizes Man
1. Evolution de-privileges the human species by
relegating us to the same class as all other animals.
2. Evolution minimizes the uniqueness and intricateness
of human beings by downplaying the chasm that
separates us intellectually, emotionally, relationally,
and spiritually from the remainder of creation.

3. Evolution reduces all of life to the combined result of
material and chemical reactions.
4. Evolution cheapens life. The weakest of any species
must be allowed to perish, the strong must be
permitted to dominate. Life is dispensible and value
is determined based on strength.

helping evolution along.

This man-on-the-street video interview on college campuses aims to
challenge the central tenet of Evolutionary Theory – that natural
selection is powerful enough to change one kind of animal to
another kind of animal given enough time. It is believed that enough
of these incremental, gradual changes in an organism leads to the
vastly diverse spectrum of creature kinds today.

Limits within Natural Selection
1.) Natural selection only selects genetic characteristics which are
already available and never “creates” a new genetic information. New
genetic information is necessary to create a new kind of animal.
2.) Natural selection only accounts for variations of the same kind of
animal, but can never account for the distinctive changes necessary to
bridge to different kinds (e.g. cats and dogs).
3.) Adaptations caused by Natural Selection are not the addition of new
information, but actually the loss of genetic information. These
adaptations are fluid and fluctuate within a certain range (e.g.
interdependence of finch beaks with rainy seasons).
4.) Breeding is an example of natural selection. You can breed pigs in
order to select certain desirable traits. But you will never get a pig as
large as the state of Texas, or a pig with a opposable thumbs, etc.
5.) Changes cannot be so great that they hamper fertility and
reproduction. The end of reproduction is the end of “evolution.” It is a
law of nature that members outside the same species are not interfertile.
Evolutions Dirty Secret
Natural Selection is not powerful
enough to improve into a new Kind.
The best it can do is to produce
variety (“speciation”) within kinds.
(e.g. Poodles, Rottweiler's, Chihuahua, Collies, Mastiff, Doberman, etc…)
• Evolution is not science, but a system of faith. It must be taken
upon the basis of the unobservable, untestable, and unrepeatable.
• There is no evidence that natural selection can produce a different
kind of animal.
• If you accept Evolution, then man is god and men make the rules.
Morality is subjective and relative, not absolute.
