• A volcano is a mountain that opens down to a pool of lava or
{magma} below the surface of the earth. When pressure builds up
eruptions occur. Then hot rocks and lava spit out of it till all the
rocks are gone and its just lava then lava just spills out quickly.
• A volcano forms by all the air pressure inside the
volcano and it rises so much it erupts. Also when the
earths upper mantle forms and works it way up to the
top and erupts when it erupts lavas spills out and
deposits and over time I continuously flows to get
bigger and bigger.
• Volcanoes happen because of the density of pressure.
The lower density of magma relative to the surroundings
rocks which causes the boiling hot rocks to rise to the
surface of the mountain. And when the rocks weight get
to heavy it will erupt.
• Volcanoes are dormant for a long time. On the
coast of Italy one of their volcanoes lasted for
a little less than 2,000 years. But normally
they last for a day.
• 1. You could try not living near a non-dormant
volcano
• 2. Make a safety route incase one occurs
• 3. Keep gas in your car
• 4. Keep goggles, emergency kit, flashlight, and
a radio to stay in touch.
