A geologists studies the
composition, processes, and
history of the earth. They try to
find out how rocks were formed
and what happened to them
since formation. They also
study the evolution of life.
Geologists conduct research’s to
extend knowledge of surface
and subsurface features of the
earth, it’s history and the
physical, chemical, and
biological systems that control
it’s evolution. They work a
average of 45 hours .
Geologists often travel to remote
field sites by helicopter or fourwheel drive vehicles and cover large
areas on foot. They work long hours
and it is a physical strain.
