Schrodinger suffered tuberculosis which was the
cause of his death.
Schrodinger was married but had many affairs
throughout his life. Usually with his co-workers wives.

THE ELECTRON CLOUD
In 1926 Shrodinger took Bohr’s model one step
further. He used mathematical equations to
describe the likelihood of finding an electron in
a certain position. This model is known as the
quantum model of an atom. (Modern Atomic

WAVES?
Formulated a wave-equation that accurately
gave the energy levels of atoms. Schrodinger used
his findings to help give us today the basis for
quantum theory.This later won Schrodinger ½ of the
Nobel Prize in 1933. Which he shared with Paul A. M.

SCHRODINGER’S EQUATION
Schrodinger published the equations in a paper
about wave mechanics. The paper describes how
the quantum state of a physical system changes
overtime. The paper was celebrated as one of the
most important achievements of the 20th

SCHRODINGER AND HEISENBURG
Schrodinger and Werner Heisenburg both
worked on the equation. Both men
mathematically determined regions in which
electrons would be most likely found. However
neither of the two officially worked as partners
