Quiz 3.2 Review
Any questions???
Are You a Periodic Table Magellan?
There will be 5 races to see who in this class
is a Periodic Table Magellan
 You will be asked to answer questions or
perform tasks related to the periodic table
 The first one who gets all questions right wins
a prize!
 Then, we will do more races!

Who was Magellan?



Magellan was the first
person to lead an
expedition around the
world!
He did not complete the
entire voyage because he
was killed during the Battle
of Mactan in the Phillipines
You too can be a Magellan
– not of the world but of
the periodic table!
Magellan Race Rules





You must SILENTLY write down all answers
Come to the board and write your name on it when
you are done
Ms. Stroh will check your answers
If you are right, you win! If you are not right, then
the next person in line on the board will be checked
Winner gets a prize!

When this happens, ALL group members will raise
boards
First group up with right answer wins a point!
Winning team gets 3 bonus points on the test
POINTS ONLY GO TO PARTICIPATING STUDENTS!
SHOWDOWN
Two random students will be chosen by
drawing names out of a beaker.
 They will compete on the chalkboard to see
who can solve the problem first.
 All students who participate will get a singlequestion freebie on the test!
