Standards Development Simulation
Game
The SEC, volunteer-developed Standards
development simulation game is an important
feature of the IEEE Standards University NIC
proposal (going to the NIC in June).
Further development refinement of the game is
planned, including targeting for key
demographics.
Policymakers—current and future—should be on
that list.

IEEE SIIT
IEEE-SIIT (Standardization and Innovation in Information
Technology) conferences aim at bringing together
standardization researchers from different disciplines; ITpractitioners, policy makers, standards developers and
users (administrations, companies, etc.) – that is, those
who are interested in exchanging insights on standards and
standardization, and appreciate the different angles and types of
knowledge brought together.
SIIT is expanding and improving in 2015.
Policy education will be a good fit with SIIT.
