Deree College Environmental Club:
Mission
The Environmental Club´s mission is
to promote awareness of environmental issues within
the Deree College community
to encourage student participation in activities
concerning pressing matters such as recycling, climate
change, pollution, wise use of resources and the use
of renewable energy sources
to help students appreciate the value of natural
ecosystems
to support and further the development of establishing
Deree College as a Green Campus.
Deree College Environmental Club:
Club Activities
The goals of the club are achieved through a variety
of activities:
Lectures by scientific experts and other distinguished
speakers to inform students on environmental issues
Slide presentations on wildlife and natural ecosystems
to encourage students to appreciate nature
Documentary screenings
Participation in exhibitions and in campaigns to raise
environmental awareness, organized within the Deree
College Community

The goals of the club are achieved through a variety

Participation in College life and cooperation with other
students, faculty and administration
Field trips to places of ecological interest
Visits to research centers, exhibitions, museums
Proposals to improve the environmental performance
of Deree College.
