Should America switch to solar?

How solar works
• When light hits the solar panel it converts
the light into electrons of direct current
electricity. The electrons flow out of the
solar panel and into an inverter. The inverter
converts that direct current power into
alternating current power. Which then goes
to power your house.
What I think
• I personally think that America should.
America has been running on fossil fuels way
to long. Because they haven't switched yet
climate change is already causing catastrophic
weather effects through out the entire nation.

Q: “Do you think America should switch to solar?”
A: “Yes”
Q: “Why did you say yes?”
A: “Because it would save energy.”
Q: “Why do you think that?”
A: “Umm… because if we use solar it will use sun energy
instead of using the fossil fuels when we could be putting
dinosaurs together.”
• Q: “Any other reasons?”
• A: “Well the houses would look very cool
For the safety of the student we will not revel their name.
But why?
BECAUSE I SAID SO!
Economics
This would cost millions if not billions of dollars. This also
will cost decades or maybe a century or two to fully
complete. Yet once completed the electric bills will spike
down and overall save us money.
Core democratic value
• It is for the common good that America switch to
solar. If America does not switch some time soon
climate change would have a bolstering effect on
America. Such as increased global warming,
increased number of hurricanes, and failure of
future crops. I also have Popular Sovereignty with
this topic. Most students do agree that we should
make the switch.
Taking a stand
I believe that America should switch to solar. I support my topic with
popular soverenty. Most students do think we should make the switch.
I support my topic with economics this would save us money over
time. 14 boys say yes, 8 girls say yes and 3 boys say no, 2 girls say no.
In conclusion America should switch to solar.
