Students can choose three courses from a list of options, each
occupying 3 hrs per week in Year 9 and then 4 hrs per week in Year
10.

In Year 11 students will be
guided to choose subjects to fill
the 9 hrs of option time in
blocks of 3 hrs.
Students study the same three courses over the two years.
For most students this will be:

As a default, students will complete and sit exams in these three
option subjects at the end of Year 10.
The expectation is that all students will study at least one EBacc
option subject in Year 9/10.
Students may also be asked to take
additional English, maths or science to
support them in achieving their target
grades in those subjects.
