2. Highlights of Current Activities - IPTV
• IPTV
– Phase 2 in progress for adopting ITU-T IPTV standard in consideration of NGN network by
December 2010
– Standardization for interoperability of IPTV services and contents among IPTV service
providers is in progress

– Standard research and development for Mobile IPTV to evolve to next generation IPTV

Phase 1 completed in April 2008 : Supports IPTV based on legacy IP network
– KT launched the first IPTV real-time terrestrial television broadcasting service in Nov. 2008
and SK Broadband & LG Dacom in Jan. 2009
– TTA will Complete domestic IPTV standardization by December 2009
