Chicken Wing – External Features
Chicken Wing Dissection
Chicken Wing - Removing the Skin
Chicken Wing - Muscles
When the skin is removed you can see
the muscles of the wing and how each
one is attached to the skeleton.
Run the forceps along the length of each
muscle until you reach the tendon. The
tendon is the white, tough, fibrous material
that connects the muscle to the bone.

Elbow Joint - Showing Ligaments
Note:
Ligaments
connect bones
together.
At the surface
of each bone
forming the
joint is a white,
shiny,
slippery
substance
called cartilage.
