iPad: what is to come
To be released in April 2010
If people see the iPad as an extra device to
carry around, it will likely have limited appeal.
If they see it as a convenient replacement for
bulkier computers, it could drastically change
portable computing.
Web-surfing, email, social networking, video/photo
viewing, gaming, music, basic content creation, note
taking.
Will the iPad replace laptop computers?
What is the iPad?
The iPad is an advance in making moresophisticated computing possible via a simple
touch interface on a slender, light and highly
portable device.
Only time will tell if it’s a real
challenger to the laptop
