Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor with HT
Technology
Designed to deliver performance across applications and
usages where end-users can truly appreciate and experience
the performance. These applications include Internet audio
and streaming video, image processing, video content creation,
speech, 3D, CAD, games, multimedia, and multitasking user
environments.
Hyper Threading Technology enables the processor to execute two series, or threads, of
instructions at the same time, thereby improving performance and system responsiveness.
The Pentium 4 processor supporting HT Technology is designed specially to deliver
immediate increases in performance and system responsiveness with existing applications
in multitasking environments. For example with the Intel® 2005 Entertainment PC, HT
Technology enables users to download music from the internet whilst simultaneously playing
a game or recording TV.

Media Center Edition 2005 and the Intel® 2005 Entertainment PC enabling audio
setup and configuration via remote control.
It combines Intel® High Definition Audio hardware’s 24-bit processing with Sonic
Focus* Audio Refinement technology to provide rich, personalized sound.
Using Intel Audio Studio, you can
transform compressed PC audio,
such as MP3 files, into a highquality 7.1 surround sound
experience with full control over
environment settings like vocal
clarity, room depth and ambience.
