“SCARY TALES” ASSIGNMENT – A RAP
MAJOR GRADE. English7
I AM ABOUT TO ASSIGN A MAJOR-GRADE ASSIGNMENT in which
groups will work together to create and perform a “scary tales” rap.
This assignment originated from a table game designed to enhance
social interaction for children as young as age 8.
IF you and/or your family would be opposed (because of religious or any
other reason) to you creating, performing or even hearing a “scary tale”,
PLEASE LET ME KNOW TODAY. You will STILL have a comparable
assignment, but I will accommodate your special needs.
PLOT: The sequence of events in a story,
novel, or play. It includes introducing the
story’s characters, setting and situation. It
includes COMPLICATIONS, which lead to
the CLIMAX, or point of highest emotional
pitch. The FALLING ACTION is the logical
result of the climax, and the
RESOLUTION presents the final outcome.
