Company Overview
 VeggieLand, founded in 1994, is a leading vegetarian food manufacturer
selling products to both the retail market and food service industry.
VeggieLand recently acquired the Franklin Farms brand of vegetarian
products that includes the top two selling fresh veggie burgers in the
U.S.
 VeggieLand’s manufacturing plant in Parsippany, NJ maintains a strong
emphasis on food safety and has been awarded Silliker Laboratories
highest food safety award – the Gold Certificate of Recognition -- for
three years in a row. A continuous food safety improvement plan
ensures the plant will be able to adapt to an ever changing food safety
landscape. VeggieLand’s manufacturing plant is also certified
vegetarian by the American Vegetarian Association. There is no
processing of any type of meat in the production facility.

Management Team
 Philip Grabow, CEO
 Founder of VeggieLand with over 40 years of experience in the food
industry. Phil began his career with Kraft foods and went on to run a
successful food brokerage and a bakery company before starting
VeggieLand in 1994.
 Jason Wilson, President and COO
 Joined VeggieLand in early 2005. Jason has 20 years of various
operational experience in finance, marketing, sales, and operations with
multinational companies including BMW, BASF, and Honeywell. Jason
holds an MBA from New York University and is extensively trained in Six
Sigma quality management.
 Len Torine, Executive Vice President R&D
 Creator of VeggieLand’s signature veggie burgers. Len has over 35 years
of food experience and is responsible for all new product development.
Len works directly with the customer’s culinary team to create delicious
private label vegetarian products. Len is a member of the American
Vegetarian Association advisory board.
Original Veggie Burger
 The Original is not a typical soy burger
as it includes a variety of visible fresh
vegetables and spices to enhance the
flavor rather than an assortment of
artificial flavors.
 Full meaty flavor and texture. This is
our number one selling burger for
restaurants. It has received many
accolades from customers and critics.
In 2006, it received the Best Vegan
Meal in a chain restaurant (Ruby
Tuesday’s) from PETA.
Portabella Burger
 This burger has a strong mushroom
flavor and has visible vegetables
throughout.
 Sold retail as Franklin Farms Portabella
Veggiburger. It is the top selling fresh
veggie burger in the U.S.
Garden Broiler
 Vegetarian patty made with whole
grains such as brown rice and oats as
well as mushrooms, water chestnuts,
carrots and peppers.
 This Vegan product is referred to as
“Gardenburger with flavor”.
Peppadewtm Burger
 The only veggie burger made with
Peppadew Sweet Piquante
Pepperstm. This unique pepper,
classified as a fruit, gives the burger
a sweet bite with heat on the finish.
Peppadew Sweet Piquante
Pepperstm are grown only in South
Africa and VeggieLand maintains an
exclusive license to use the name in
its vegetarian products.
