1. What is Kikora?

Kikora means «joy» in Swahili.
•
Kikora is also the name of a Norwegian
company which has spent 10 years in
developing a ‹math enginge» that may help
students learn math more efficiently.

If the calculations are more complex than this, the
students have to wait for help to find where the error is.

There are now two programs that may help
teachers and students learn how to use GeoGebra:
1. A certification program with videoes, spoken
instructions, exercices and feedback.
2. A quickstart program for beginners.

The instructional videoes are made with Camtasia Studio.

• About 100 000 teachers.
• 50 858 have solved
parts of the program.
• 2734 have completed
the program and
become certified
GeoGebra users.
• 970 000 exercises have
been solved so far.
