Days) cannot be over-emphasised

Finance
• Failing to meet our student number targets and research
income targets has hit our finance badly,
• In addition, we have had to pay £124K for bills that should
have been paid last year (Perrett Laver, AV equipment)
• We will have an in year deficit this year but I don’t think
that we will go back into cumulative deficit
• It is hard to be certain about our position until the budgets
have been up-dated (March?) and we have more certainty
over the Leadership Chairs
• In the meantime we have a bit of a cash flow problem
• Please try to be careful with School resources; see CR if
unsure about expenditure. Final budgets and current
balances to be circulated this week.
HR Issues
• 1% pay increase to salaries paid from 31st
January 2013 back-dated to 1st August 2012
• People Management Framework – End of
February/Early March 2013
• Leavers – Stefania Chillo
• Susan McCourt – returns form Maternity leave
