Babylon
Babylon

After 1000 years when the
Sumerians came, two new
civilizations rose. One was Assyrians
which was in the northern side. The
other was Babylon in the southern
side. Mesopotamia was the most
impressive city about 3500 years
ago. The city had a king named
Marduk.
Babylon

Babylon is similar
to today because
it had buildings
and all sorts of
plants and animals
just like we do
today. It also had
seas, rivers, trees,
animals, and
people just like
today.

Assyrians

They moved into
Mesopotamia
because it was a
great place to live.
They built their
civilization right in
the middle of a
desert. There were
trees, animals,
and waters.
Assyrians

Today we plant gardens and plant fruits
just like the Assyrians did. The Assyrians
also invented the things we use today,
like the plow for example. We all use the
things the Assyrians made. The most
important thing the Assyrians made was
gardening. Without gardening we
wouldn’t have fruits or vegetables. The
Assyrians were like a gift to the world.
