What is the weather like? / How is the weather? Hace buen tiempo. It is good weather. Hace mal tiempo. It is bad weather. Hace frío. It is cold. Hace calor. It is hot. Hace fresco. It is cool. Hace viento. It is windy. Hace sol. It is sunny. Other weather expressions that do NOT use “hace” are: Llueve.* It is raining. Nieva. It is snowing. Está nublado. It is cloudy.
