Anotace
• DUM na téma „Phrasal verbs - basic“ má za cíl seznámit žáky s
nejpoužívanějšími anglickými frázovými slovesy a jejich použitím ve větách
a zároveň tuto látku procvičit. V první části prezentace se žáci formou
hlasitého čtení, popř. výkladu učitele seznámí ze základními pravidly
tvoření, používání a s rozdělením frázových sloves na „literal phrasal
verbs“ a „idioms“. Následuje procvičování, první dvě cvičení formou
doplňování do vět, třetí cvičení formou zakroužkování správné možnosti.
Žáci, popř. učitel využívají digitální pero. Součástí prezentace je i správné
řešení. DUM je určen žákům 1.-2. ročníku čtyřletého, popř. víceletého
gymnázia, úroveň Elementary / Preintermediate.
• Materiál je určen k interaktivní výuce.
PHRASAL VERBS - BASIC
Basic rules of use
• phrasal verb usually consists of two or more
words – a verb + an adverb / a preposition
e.g. run away, get up, take off, go on, pick up,
look for, fill in, turn down, break through,
look forward to, put up with, get on with,
fall out with etc.
• some phrasal verbs are commonly used with
an object, then there are two possible
positions
e.g. Don´t throw away the magazine.
or Don´t throw the magazine away.
but if the object is a pronoun (me, it, her,
them…), there is only one position
possible:
Don´t throw it away.
• we prefer using phrasal verbs in informal and
spoken English instead of one-word verbs,
which are used more in formal language
e.g. to get back – to return
to get by – to manage
to cut down on – to reduce
to break down – to stop working
to give up – to stop doing
to put off – to postpone
