(yes/no questions) To form a yes/no question reverse the order of subject and verb: Ella estudia mucho (subject) (verb) ¿Estudia ella mucho? (verb) (subject) *If answering in the negative, use two (2) “NO”s: No, ella no estudia mucho. One “No” in the beginning of the sentence. One “no” before the verb. Las preguntas: ¿sí o no? (yes/no questions) *To a question put to you (tú / Ud.), answer in the yo form: Question = ¿Estudias tú mucho? (verb) Answer = Sí, yo estudio mucho. (subject) Answer = (subject) (verb) No, yo no estudio mucho. (subject) (verb) *To a question put to you all (Ustedes), answer in the nosotros form: Question = ¿Estudian ustedes mucho? Answer = Answer = Sí, nosotros estudiamos mucho. No, nosotros no estudiamos mucho.
