o Tail swept away 1/3 stars of heaven, threw to earth
o Tried to devour the woman’s child










Male child to rule all nations with rod of iron
Caught up to God and to His throne
Dragon called: serpent of old, devil, Satan
1/3 stars of heaven, “his angels” vs. 9
Woman flees to wilderness for 1,260 days
Dragon thrown to the earth, has short time
Dragon persecutes the woman
Dragon is enraged at the woman
Went to make war with her offspring

1st Beast with 10 horns, 10 diadems, 7 heads
Dragon gives him power, throne, authority for
42 months
Whole earth worships the beast AFTER his
fatal wound is healed
Fights saints and overcomes them
2nd Beast: 2 horns, speaks like a dragon
Performs signs, makes all worship 1st beast
Mark of the beast:666

The 144,000 in heaven
6 angels who give various proclamations

◦ Babylon the Great “fallen”
◦ God’s wrath on those who worship beast

Another sign in heaven
 7 angels given 7 plagues
 The wrath of God is finished in them
 Those victorious over the beast sing in
heaven
 The temple in heaven is opened

1st bowl: Sores on those who receive the mark
2nd bowl: Sea becomes blood
3rd bowl: Rivers and waters become blood
4th bowl: Sun scorches men with fire and men
do not repent
5th bowl: Darkness, blaspheme, curse God
and do not repent
6th bowl: Euphrates dried up, 3 spirits of
demons gather kings of earth for war
7th bowl:
o “It is done”
o Lightning, sounds/rumblings, thunder
o Great earthquake
o Great city Babylon: split in 3 parts, nations
fall
o Every island and mountain go away
o 100 pound hailstones fall
Theme: 7 bowls of wrath poured out

Judgment on the great harlot Babylon
 Babylon is a “mystery”
 Babylon called the great harlot/prostitute and
the Great City which reigns
 Babylon has dominion over the kings of the
earth
 10 kings and the beast will burn her
Theme: Judgment of harlot/prostitute Babylon

Fall of Babylon continued
 Fall will come about in 1 hour
 Kings and merchants mourn over her
 Judged because of the blood of saints,
prophets and apostles
Theme: Fall of Babylon in 1 hour Judgment

“After these things”
 AFTER Babylon falls
 John hears multitude in heaven, rejoicing
 Marriage supper of the Lamb
 Verses 11-16 like Revelation 1:7
 King of kings and Lord of lords comes
 Birds eat flesh of those who came against Him
 Beast and false prophet thrown into lake of fire


Devil is bound for 1,000 years
 He cannot deceive the nations during this time
 Those who did not receive the mark reign with
Christ for 1,000 years
 After the 1,000 years, Satan is released
 He deceives the nations
 Satan thrown into the lake of fire
 Great white throne judgment
 Those not listed in Book of Life: lake of fire

Judgment

New heaven
 New earth
 New Jerusalem
 Jerusalem described in verses 9-27



 22:6 is the purpose again from 1:1
 22:7 restates the blessing from 1:2
 Jesus says He is coming quickly/ soon three
times: verses 7, 12 and 20
 Jesus sent His angel to testify to John
 Jesus is the Root and Descendant of David
 Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star
